Funding

BACO relies on the generosity of its members for its core funding. Members pay £20 per annum for membership and in addition make donations which are eligible for Gift Aid.  We are always seeking to increase our membership and our Committee accept any opportunity to talk about our work to local groups. We have received one-off payments from generous individuals.

During the 1990’s the Committee started to make requests to various trusts and foundations and we have developed this work with a member of the committee and the Chairman devoting time to making applications.  We are a grant making charity and this does not fit the criteria for many trusts and foundations.

We have worked in 2017/2018 with the Wyvern Branch of the Arts Society who have supported the work of the Art Therapy department in HMP Grendon via BACO.

The current and past High Sheriff’s of Buckinghamshire have shown their support in nominating BACO to be a recipient of monies from the Thames Valley Police Property Fund.

2019 sees the launch of a website that will allow people to donate on line via JustGiving and we are encouraging people to give via the Vale Lottery.

We are indebted to the following trusts, foundations and organisations:
